Seven Seven Six, the venture capital firm founded by the creator of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, is investing in the upcoming MMORPG, Forgotten Runiverse.
Along with Ryan Zurrer’s Dialect, they have taken the first and second position for Land Tokens. These will exist in creative studio Magic Machine and game developer Bisonic’s upcoming MMORPG, Forgotten Runiverse.

It is a massive show of faith towards the upcoming game, based on the popular NFT project, Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult (FRWC). Both of the lead investors want to expand the project’s infrastructure and support the lore of this unique community.
The Forgotten Runiverse will debut in 2022. This exciting Web3 blockchain game is already in production by the teams at Magic Machine and Bisonic. The latest funding round will provide the necessary financial help to make this game a success. The Land tokens will play a huge role in the economy of the game and there is a public land sale coming in the near future.
Forgotten Runiverse game will act as an FRWC hub
Forgotten Runiverse exists in a ‘create to earn’ economy. The interactive fantasy game will act as a hub for various games and experiences. The game includes mining resources, crafting, land ownership, socialising, quests, battles, etc. In addition, every item is an NFT, and every resource is a token.
“Like many, I discovered Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult when some of my favourite folks in the Web3 community started tweeting these charming, nostalgic JRPG-style avatars. We connected and were impressed by the vision from the Bisonic and Magic Machine teams,” said Alexis Ohanian, Founder of Seven Seven Six, when talking about Forgotten Runiverse.
FRWC continues to impress and build on the original vision. Importantly, the whole world and the characters are in the hands of the community. What initially began as an NFT collection of 10,000 wizards NFTs is now growing.
Finally, there are now plans for TV, film, comics and more. The Forgotten Runiverse is the latest entry to the FRWC world.
