Animoca Brands has once again invested in a play-to-earn NFT game. This time, it’s Drunk Robots.

The game is set in Los Machines, a futuristic city in the Drunkards Universe. It’s inhabited by a variety of drunk and junky robots with a mere interest in beer, metal, and violence. Players of this game can interact with their drunk robot NFT and earn along the way.
The play-to-earn Action RPG announced its partnership with Animoca Brands on Twitter. Their new partner retweeted—quoting that the partnership is “strategic.” Fans are now looking forward to seeing what Animoca Brands can offer to Drunk Robots.
Slava M., the co-founder of Drunk Robots, expressed how this partnership is “a natural fit.” Slava commented about how Animoca Brands shares its brand’s vision for empowering players.
“We’re excited to have its expert guidance and support as we continue to develop our amazing project,” he said.

Sure, the investment from Animoca Brands will support the blockchain game’s ongoing development. But the team has already made impressive progress before this partnership even began.
For instance, Drunk Robots has already sold out its entire NFT collection. A variety of game modes have also launched and are playable now. Among these are PvP battles, Scavenging, Drunk Races, and Free-to-Play mini-games.

The free-to-play mini-games allow players to experience a part of the metaverse before diving in. They would only need to finish some of these each week to receive equipment and weapons for free. But to get the full experience, the players need to buy at least one of 10,101 Drunk Robot NFT characters. This provides access to the main game modes and expeditions that free players miss.
The Drunk Robots team has plenty of content and features already in the works. It’s currently building an easy-to-use system for guild activities. These include scholarships and NFT rentals.
