Blankos Block Party rescinds access to Russian players due to the recent events in Ukraine. In addition, the Ukrainian government has called for other countries to suspend sales to Russia. As a result, gaming publishers such as EA have stopped all sales to Russia and Belarus. CD Projekt also expressed Thursday, the company will halt all sales following the recent attack on Ukraine.

Blanko Rescinds Russian Players

On March 3rd, publishing studio Mythical Games released a statement via Twitter regarding Blankos rescinds on Russian players.

“We stand for peace.

In light of the Russian military invasion in Ukraine and recent OFAC sanctions, Mythical Games will suspend access to our sites and game servers for Russian users at 1:00 UTC / 4 a.m. MSK on Friday, March 4, 2022.

While we know that gaming can be an escape for many from the problems of the world and understand this suspension of service may unfortunately impact members of our community who do not support the Russian invasion, we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who cannot escape the realities of Russia’s actions.
