Cross the Ages, an innovative blockchain gaming company, announced the appointment of Ting Peng as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Peng will be responsible for driving business and product development for the startup, which plans to be fully operational in the metaverse by June 2023.

Ting Peng Appointed as Cross The Ages Metaverse Game COO
Peng has previously served as a chief marketing officer at Cross the Ages. In 2021, she started establishing the company’s brand identity and social community of over 400,000. During this time, she was also editor in chief at CoinTelegraph China.
Her background as a journalist and editor strengthened her knowledge of the crypto industry. Moreover, it allowed her to see the ecosystem in a full cycle from startup to success.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Ting assume her new role as COO. She’s done an incredible job with our marketing communications and community establishment,” said Co-Founder and CEO Sami Chlagou.
“She has been an integral part of elevating CTA to its current status. We look forward to having Ting at the helm during what will be an incredibly busy and important time for the company.”
In addition to Peng’s appointment, Cross the Ages also announced a successful $12 million seed round last month. Investors including Animoca Brands, Ubisoft, Polygon and Sebastien Borget, Co-Founder and COO of The Sandbox, led the seed round.
About Cross The Ages
Cross The Ages (CTA) is a mobile-first collectible card game set in a dystopian clash of worlds. It is based on seven fantasy and science fiction novels.
Players compete individually and in teams for valuable NFTs while going on Metaverse quests to discover priceless ‘easter eggs’ hidden in the novels.

Players can expect the beta version of the game in late June. In addition, they can also look forward to the digital and physical cards of the game later this year.
Right now, prospective users can join social competitions held by the CTA team for the opportunity to be part of the first 20,000 players whitelisted.
