Enter the Unicorn Multiverse, a virtual land where milk and berries flow freely. The land serves as a beautiful home to the many Crypto Unicorns who roam freely and live peaceful lives. Let’s see what Laguna Games’ new blockchain game has to offer.

What’s the hype around Crypto Unicorns?
Crypto Unicorns is essentially a unicorn pet-collecting and farming game. Farming just went live recently while the team continues to work on other games such as jousting, racing, and team RPG battles. At its core, the game is inspired by OG games such as Super Mario, Pokémon, and Zelda.
The team is actively nurturing a community-run game economy, instead of the conventional free-to-play model which is inherently extractive. Fortunately, the CU community has been nothing short of amazing.
There are 3 Crypto Unicorns NFT collections to date, which are now available on OpenSea. Firstly, there are the 10k Genesis Unicorns. These corns can breed up to 8 times, further expanding the CU community. Next, players can also purchase Land NFTs on the Land Market. Lastly, Shadowcorns are the dark cousins of the Crypto Unicorns. There is a total of 3k Shadowcorn Eggs in the Dark Forest.

Here’s how you play the game
Each player’s farm is their home within the Unicorn Multiverse. They can customize it with a variety of productive buildings including the Stables, Nursery, Workshop, Gathering Cart, and Farm Plots. This is where the Crypto Unicorns come in handy. They are extremely helpful around the farm and would love to help you out.
To start, players add farm plots to their Lands, where they can plant and harvest berries. These berries can be used to breed and evolve the Unicorns in the future. You also get a hint of reality as the Unicorns, like any other farm animals, poop as they please around your farm. We’re just lucky we can’t smell them.
Stables are where the corns usually sleep, while the Nursery is where they breed and produce new Unicorn Eggs. To be honest I always thought of them to be mammals. Oh well.
On the other hand, players can craft materials and items in the workshop, such as breeding and evolutionary boosters. Whereas Gathering Carts are used to send Unicorns on gathering quests.
Interestingly, the Crypto Unicorns team has integrated Chainlink’s VRF to help power random in-game rewards. Chainlink is the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, providing a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness in the game.

What are the tokens for?
There are two tokens on the farm:
$RBW: Rainbow tokens are the primary value token for the Unicorn Multiverse. $RBWs can earn you staking rewards and grant votes on DAO governance. Players can also use them to purchase items, breed Unicorns, and pay entry fees.
$UNIM: Meanwhile, Unicorn Milk is an ERC-20 token that functions as the lifeblood of the Crypto Unicorn economy. They are the second component to breed Unicorns and craft high-value items and boosters. Players can earn $UNIM by competing in various events and tournaments.
Does this sound like a universe you want to be in? If so, head on to the Unicorn Multiverse to check it out!
