Decentraland announces it is holding a tribute to Kenzo Takada on the metaverse. Through a unique building designed by the Decentraland, Lumière, and Holdex, Web3 natives can experience the world of the famous painter and fashion designer.
Kenzo Takada Decentraland Building Features His Life and Work
The unique building in Decentraland allows you to see the life and works of Kenzo Takada virtually. The building celebrates his passion for fashion and his revolutionary ideas.
Inside the building are sensational and exclusive murals as well as photos and videos produced by Mar Vivo Films of his personal life and professional career.
Additionally, the highlight of the exhibition will be a super rare collection of eight pieces available for purchase. Artists Marcy and Engelbert made two of the paintings in the collection. These are people who worked together with Kenzo throughout his career.
The other six paintings are inspired by his self-portrait that comes with an AI intervention called the Rainbow series.
When Is The Official Launch Of The Building on Decentraland?
Although the Kenzo Takada NFTs are already sold out two days ago, you can still participate in the official launch of the building on the 21st of May. The date coincides with the start of the 75th Cannes Film Festival where a link for the sale will be available.
