Sipher is a P2E MOBA game on the Ethereum network. Built by “World Architect” Tim Nguyen and his team in Vietnam, the game is centered in the World of Sipheria. Here, players can recruit Siphers, explore dungeons and win battles to earn $ATHER.

Sipher: What you need to know about this game
Sipherian or Sipher is a playable NFT character in the game. In total, there are 4 different races of Genesis Siphers. They are Sipher Inu, Sipher Neko, Sipher Buru, and Sipher Tori. Although you only need 1 to play the game, you can recruit different types of Siphers to form a complete team.
Take note that there are only 10,000 Siphers in each race. And each race is then further categorized into 4 sub-species. For instance, the Sipher Inu race has 4 sub-species which are Canis, Bioz, Cyborg, and Cosmic as seen below.

So, which Sipher should you pick for the game? There are no right or wrong answers. But generally, Sipher Inu is well-known for its strength & its ability to regenerate. On the other hand, the intelligent Sipher Neko is sought after for its high-speed combats. While Sipher Buru will be the dominant attacker in the team. Currently, Sipher Inu and Sipher Neko are available for sale on OpenSea. There is no official sales date yet for Sipher Buru and Sipher Tori. So, stay tuned!

How do I play-to-earn in Sipher?
In Sipher, there are two P2E game modes which are PvE (dungeon style) and PvP (live MOBA action). As mentioned, you only need to own 1 Sipher to access the game. In fact, Sipher is using a dual-token system. Thus, you have $SIPHER as the governance token and $ATHER as the P2E token.
Regardless of PvE or PvP, you will have to form a team of 3 prior to the battle. If you’re going solo, the Sipher game will automatically team you up with other players. Upon victory, you can earn $ATHER and random loot boxes from the game.
Besides that, top-ranked players on the PvE & PvP weekly leaderboards will receive $SIPHER as a reward. If you wish to climb the ranks, make sure you upgrade your characters using $ATHER. Other than that, you can also earn $SIPHER in several ways. These include staking $SIPHER in Sipher Vault, holding Genesis Sipher NFT, or streaming live Sipher game matches to earn more.
At the time of writing, the $SIPHER token is already being launched, but not $ATHER. You can check out the tokenomics of $SIPHER over here.
What’s next for Sipher?
Looking at the roadmap, Sipher will be releasing Sipher Buru very soon! The team has recently introduced this character to its community. And the die-hard fans of Sipher can’t wait to get their hands on these Sipher Burus. Anyway, did you know that you can earn whitelist spots for future Sipher NFT drops, just by holding Sipher NFTs? Wait no more. Just hop on to the “Collector’s Program” for details.
Moreover, you can also apply to playtest the game right now. The playtest is only available on PC. But, players will need to comply with the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) policy of the game. If you’re interested, make sure you join their Discord channel and fill out the application form.
All in all, Sipher is another potential RPG paving its way into the GameFi space. If you’re looking for more blockchain RPG or MMORPG, make sure you check out our extensive guides in The Mediaverse.
