Gala Games has big plans for their upcoming metaverse, and they have selected the best in the business to give them a hand. The web3 entertainment company is partnering with Unity’s Accelerate Solutions to develop The VOXverse. Needless to say, the community cannot be more excited.
What is Gala Games’ The VOXverse?
The VOXverse will set out to be a living, breathing virtual world that is interoperable, immersive and ever-evolving. Gala Games is all in on this project, and aims for it to completely change how people think of metaverses. If successful, it should legitimize web3 technologies for the entire gaming and entertainment industry.
The new Gala Games metaverse will see each avatar having its unique and evolving personalities and encounters. The change will occur as the game progresses, as a result of each player’s unique in-game experiences.
In addition, players can build social influence, compete in factions, participate in world-building, and own land in several dimensions. They can explore different terrains, and even portal into Gala’s other live games. Honestly, I’m not sure what else to ask for.
The VOXverse will integrate with other IP partners such as The Walking Dead and Mirandus. There will be areas in the city dedicated to each title, and the world will continue to expand. On another note, do watch out for possible VOX drops.
In the recent Galaverse ’22 in Malta, the team shared their plans and ambitious goals for The VOXverse, which got the audience at the edge of their seats.
What is Unity’s role moving forward?
Unity’s Accelerate Solutions has plenty of experience in collaborating with various gaming projects. Moving forward, they will help Gala Games to craft elegant, effective solutions for VOXverse. Furthermore, Unity’s experience in AR, VR, robotics, and mixed reality will truly enrich player experiences.
All in all, the community is bullish on this partnership and we can’t wait for the release of The VOXverse!
