Gamepay, a metaverse startup, has secured $1.2 million in pre-seed funding from investors. The emerging company aims to provide a platform for developers to launch Play-to-Earn (P2E) games. The money will also allow Gamepay to design and develop an NFT marketplace for Chickey Chik.
Notably, Chickey Chik is the team’s first NFT and P2E game project. This NFT marketplace’s development and its launch are happening next month. After this, they will promote the Chickey Chik game and enter the OpenSea marketplace. Furthermore, they will launch tokens on several decentralized exchanges.
Chickey Chik is the first P2E NFT game by Gamepay that just raised $1.2 million in seed funding.
Gamepay, the Singapore-based blockchain firm, raised $1.2 million from several investors. This investment will enable the company to grow its presence in the emerging P2E market. Seier Capital and 81 Holdings took part in the seed funding.
How does Gamepay work?
Essentially, Gamepay will provide the tools and platform for game developers to launch their P2E games. The startup is committed to creating an active community across multiverses.
Significantly, the platform will allow people in emerging markets to earn through games created under the Gamepay brand. The first of these projects is Chickey Chik.
Later this month, the company will launch an NFT marketplace for the NFT P2E games project, Chickey Chik. As part of the launch, the company will be donating a significant amount of the NFT sales to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
The marketplace will provide easy and fun access to limited edition game characters. It will also enable trading in the Chickey Chik community.
What’s more, Gamepay has also partnered with some incredible artists and fashion houses. Basically, sneakers, art, and other fashion apparel will enter the marketplace.
