IQ Protocol has announced an integration with Zone of Avoidance. This integration will effectively unlock more value from the existing in-game NFTs. IQ Protocol will introduce NFT rental within the sci-fi RPG, allowing more utility and flexibility for the ZoA community.
Players can use this on-chain NFT rental facility to rent out their digital assets while retaining clear ownership of the assets. This seamless experience will include renting out characters, skins, weapons, and other in-game NFTs.

Zone of Avoidance
ZoA is essentially a PVP/PVE, play-to-earn, NFT-based auto battler. The Zone of Avoidance is a shattered galaxy-turned-battleground where three rival factions battle in an all-out war. Players can choose among the three factions: Humans, The Syndicate, or the Raddans.
In the game, players will form their squads and select a strategic battle formation. Then, just sit back and watch the explosive battles play out live. In addition, players can trade their customizable and upgradeable NFTs in the ZoA marketplace.
IQ Protocol
IQ Protocol is a decentralized multichain money market for NFT renting, fungible token renting, and other blockchain subscriptions. With this integration, users can now rent out wrapped, expirable versions of their NFTs without collateral. This allows holders to earn rewards by providing liquidity without risks.
The integration between ZoA and IQ Protocol will make The Spacebar a reality. The Spacebar is a P2P NFT rental platform where players can rent out their unused heroes and mercenaries to other players. They can set a fixed rental period and the associated rental costs. Following which, IQ Protocol’s smart contracts will handle the rest.
Frauds and scams run rampant among in-game asset trading. These cases are very common in both conventional games and blockchain games. With the introduction of this rental market, such fears can now be safely alleviated.
