The free-to-play P2E blockchain game Mines of Dalarnia (MoD) has gone live! Developed by Chromia Studios and Workinman Interactive, MoD has received strong support in the past few months. To illustrate, there are already 100,000 unique active wallets taking part in the game prior to the launch. In fact, the secondary sales of MoD’s virtual lands have passed the $1 million mark as well.
What’s more, testnet players of Mines of Dalarnia are in for a treat. According to the team, they will reward thousands of these players with hundreds of NFTs and $40,000 in $DAR. What a juicy reward indeed!
What you need to know about Mines of Dalarnia
Mines of Dalarnia is a F2P blockchain game on the BNB Chain. Here, players can mine and collect various in-game items such as minerals, rare relics, and artifacts. You can explore different mines with various terrains while battling against monsters to gather rare resources.
To start with, there are four regions in the game that you should know of. They are Terra Caldera, Terra Prime, Terra Simia, and Luna Praxis (the Moon). In this game, you can choose to play as a Miner or a Landowner. Obviously, to become a landowner, you need to hold at least one plot of land NFT in your wallet.
In this game full of adventures, miners in the Mines of Dalarnia only have one goal. They need to stay alive and collect as many resources as they can from the mining plots. When mining, players will have to fight against monsters that come in their way. These resources can then be converted into equipment upgrades, cosmetic skins, and consumables.
On the other hand, it’s all a bed of roses for landowners in the Mines of Dalarnia game. All they need to do is to manage and rent out their lands for other players to mine. In return, players must pay rental fees in $DAR to the landowners.
In addition, the game is free to play. If you’re one of the F2P players, you can travel to Luna Praxis, the Moon region in the Mines of Dalarnia. However, the number of mining plots is limited there. Hence, when you’re ready to explore further, just purchase a Mining Passport to access the entire Dalarnian Universe.
NFTs in the game
Although it is free to play in the Mines of Dalarnia game, you can actually purchase some in-game NFTs to gain an edge over other players. Currently, some of the NFTs available for sale are land plot NFTs, Robo Canary Birds NFTs, and Mining Ape NFTs. Each of these NFTs will help you progress faster and earn more from the game in some ways. For instance, a Robo Canary Bird will always follow you around and alert you of any impending dangers at the mining site.
How to earn from Mines of Dalarnia
$DAR is the native token of the game and it will function as both governance and utility token in MoD. Currently, you can earn $DAR by selling in-game items that you collected in Mines of Dalarnia. Players can get these items by completing in-game quests or by winning competitions. Not to mention that you can also earn rental fees in $DAR when renting out your lands to other players.
“Blockchain presents the gaming world with an opportunity to compensate players for the time and effort that they put into playing games. It’s a chance for people to be financially rewarded for doing things they enjoy. We’re so happy to present the Mines of Dalarnia community with the ability to earn rewards while they play a game that they love,” said Keith McCullough, COO of Workinman Interactive.
Indeed, as the game launches on the mainnet, Mines of Dalarnia will serve as the next potential platform for P2E players to earn. If you’re ready to seek your fortune, the game is now available for PC download on Mines of Dalarnia’s official website.
