The NFT gaming community is still craving for an NFT game that is actually fun to play. The majority of play-to-earn games basically reward players based on the time and effort spent in the game. Monster League Studios, creators of Mokens League, is trying to change this narrative once and for all.
The company recently announced its “play to win” gaming platform that focuses on gameplay, quality, skill and fun. Mokens League games include soccer, tennis, basketball, hockey, and beach volleyball. Founders Martin Repetto and Maximo Radice understand that P2E games are generally not sustainable unless they are fun. The gaming industry pioneers are using NFTs and cryptocurrencies, but will retain the fantastic gameplay and eSports mechanics.

Mokens League
P2E eSports platform, Mokens League will launch a soccer game as their first game in the series. This is a 5v5 real-time game where players can control up to 5 NFTs on their team. These NFT characters are known as Mokens. They are randomly generated and have different stats and abilities. Essentially, players should build a good team composition for higher chances of winning.
In the coming months, the company will release its in-game currency, $MOKA. Players can earn this currency by playing and winning games, leagues and tournaments. Furthermore, the company is looking to launch its NFT marketplace in Q2 2022. This will enable players to trade, lend, and rent their digital assets to other players.
Each player will receive randomly generated NFTs that have different characteristics. However, players can upgrade them using $MOKA to perform better and increase in value.
P2E gameplay and balancing are still extremely hard to achieve, with all blockchain games showing some form of discrepancy in each area. It will be exciting to see what Mokens League has in store for us!
