North American Dota 2 team 4 Zoomers has officially signed with Nouns DAO and is now known as Nouns Dota 2. The Esports team announced that they will represent Nouns DAO starting from the upcoming season. Whether you like it or not, well, the DAO has spoken.

Who is Nouns DAO?
Nouns DAO is a generative PFP NFT on Ethereum, generating only 1 NFT each day. They are essentially 32×32 pixel characters based on people, places, and things. What sets them apart is the way they release their NFTs.
Starting from #0, there will be an auction for a Noun every day. For instance, Noun 297 is on auction today, therefore you can see 296 Nouns on OpenSea now. At the time of writing, the current bid is 84.69 ETH, and the auction will end in around 5 hours.
Instead of launching 10k NFTs into the market like other 10k PFP projects, launching one a day actually makes a lot of financial sense. This mechanism incentivizes the Nouns DAO team to continue working on the project because they cannot just pull the rug after the NFTs launch. The team members will get 1 out of every 5 NFTs, and the rest of the proceeds go directly into the DAO.
Each Noun is an ERC-721 token, and a new token will be generated once the previous auction is completed. The current floor price sits at 98 ETH, making the community super-exclusive right now. Each member of this community will get 1 vote in all governance matters. For instance, Proposal 33 proposed that Noun glasses should be featured in a Super Bowl Commercial, and it ultimately came to pass.
Proposal 68: Nouns Esports
The goal of this proposal was to proliferate Nouns through Esports initiatives, starting with the signing of a professional Dota 2 (a MOBA game) roster. This proposal came to pass on 30 April with 67 ‘FOR’ votes and 0 ‘AGAINST’ votes. This proposal includes a budget of 35 ETH to 4 Zoomers, a Division 1 North American Dota Professional Circuit team. This budget will compensate 5 players, a manager, and a coach until July 17, which is the end of Season 3.
The deliverables include tournament stream viewership and individual stream viewership. The team’s live tournament broadcasts regularly get tens of thousands of concurrent viewers. In addition, Nouns Dao will use this opportunity to establish in-game branding, name branding, and player name branding. Nouns branding will be visible in-game as the team competes. Also, the team name will change to Nouns Dota and the players’ names will include a Nounish sponsor tag.
If this project succeeds, Nouns DAO will look to sponsor more gaming teams and Esports athletes. They will need to finish top 2 in this tournament, and then perform well at the majors. Doing so will qualify them for The International, the largest Dota 2 tournament in the world. By the way, the team will be playing again at 4PM EST.
