The recent launch of the parachain Efinity meant a lot to famous NFT projects, which dream of scaling. Crossing the NFT superhighway are famous P2E RPG games, including CrytoBlades. With Efinity, CryptoBlades can now scale faster and more cost-effectively.
At least 100 confirmed games and dApps (decentralized applications) will join Efinity. Aside from CryptoBlades, fan favorites Age of Rust, SwissBorg, Division Network will also come to the superhighway. Meanwhile, the PlayNFT Twitch plugin, My Metaverse, and Lost Relics wouldn’t want to fall behind either.
“Efinity will bring immediate value to users,” said Philip Devine, CEO of CryptoBlades. These benefits include giving native support for NFTs. Plus, Efinity will be able to provide “a full suite of NFT gaming utilities developed by Enjin.”
“Along with our play-to-earn title CryptoBlades, we are excited to make our NFT bridging, curated marketplace, and launchpad available via Efinity,” continued Devine. Through Efinity, CryptoBlades can now scale faster and make NFTs more accessible to all. With the transition, CryptoBlades will also be able to serve its 1.1 million active users better.
Efinity is a next-gen, substrate-based blockchain for NFTs. The NFT-focused company Enjin has developed Efinity. Their goal was to provide a “cross-chain superhighway” and bring NFTs to Polkadot. Ultimately, the recently launched Efiinity aims to be the home of all NFTs. It will then support NFT transfers, token creation, and NFT purchases. Efinity also makes the integration of smart contracts easier.
Polkadot, on the other hand, is the protocol that connects blockchains. Thus, it allows the transfer of value and data across networks that were previously incompatible. Efinity is a parachain on Polkadot. With Efinity, transactions are faster and cheaper than the standard Ethereum Blockchain.
