German sportswear company Puma has announced a partnership with Wonder Works studio! Together, they will launch an immersive sports-based experience on Roblox with Puma’s Web3 wearables.

Puma Creates Sports Wearables On Roblox
Puma and the Land of Games experience features Roblox’s new Layered Clothing technology. Through Puma’s Web3 wearables, players can level up their characters with hyperrealistic clothing. Each Puma piece can fit any avatar body type from head to toe. Additionally, as users explore the new experience, they can unlock new areas and more Puma sportswear pieces.
“We’re excited to bring an engaging and fun sports experience to the Roblox community,” said Adam Petrick, Puma’s chief brand officer. “The new Layered Clothing technology allows players to express their creativity and style, enabling our brand to create greater synergies between the physical and digital world.”

Puma Also Launches Three Sports Mini Games
Puma and the Land of Games are also offering the global Roblox community sports mini-games to bring out their inner athlete. For instance, players can try training activities like running track and lifting weights. The sportswear company said that this immersive experience shows a glimpse of what it’s like to sign with the Puma brand as an athlete.
There are three Puma sports minigames: Endless Runner, Football Rush, and Dodgeball Showdown. In Endless Runner, competitors will avoid obstacles and try to remain on the track before the ‘beast’ gets to them. In Football Rush, fans will use different power-ups as they try to score as many goals. Lastly, in Dodgeball Showdown, they will play the simulation of the classic playground game.
Fashion Companies Continue to Create Wearables in Roblox
Aside from Puma, other fashion companies have also ventured into creating wearables on Roblox. California-style clothing retailer PacSun launched its virtual store on the platform last month. In addition, DressX, the metaverse wearables fashion company, also released their first collection on Roblox.
These events only show that demand for Web3 clothing continues to soar. Surely, we’ll be seeing more clothing companies enter the metaverse in the future.
