The Sandbox x Studio Dragon: All You Need to Know
With the Sandbox x Studio Dragon partnership, K-drama fans will get to enjoy drama content in the metaverse. Basically, the partnership will give rise to a K-drama playground LAND based on Studio Dragon’s IP.
“We are very pleased about this partnership with Studio Dragon, which brings K-drama phenomenon around the world with captive drama slots,” said Cindy Lee, Director of The Sandbox Korea. “K-content fans can experience various content in The Sandbox.”
Furthermore, Studio Dragon will release avatar accessories and in-game NFTs featuring the drama IP. In other words, fans will be able to mint characters, costumes, and props from some of their favourite shows. What’s more, the studio also has plans to create content in collaboration with other global IP in Studio Dragon LAND. This way, K-drama fans will get to enjoy a whole new experience.
“We hope this partnership could provide K-drama fans around the globe with opportunities to enjoy our various content,” said Bong-ryul Ryu, Director of the content IP department of Studio Dragon.
Studio Dragon is the latest to collaborate with The Sandbox, which has built over 200 partnerships through the years. This includes Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Ubisoft, Atari, The Walking Dead, The Smurfs, and CryptoKitties, to name a few. Recently, the company also released its 2022 LAND owner roadmap.
