P2E MMO blockchain game Star Atlas has finally revealed more details about its upcoming browser-based game, SCREAM. According to the team, the gameplay will be much more challenging. And for the first time ever, players can use their ships to fight for their factions in SCREAM. Let’s dive into the details!

What does the gameplay look like in Star Atlas’ SCREAM?
In this game, there are only 3 factions that players can choose from: The MUD (humans), The Oni (Aliens), and The Ustur (Androids). Given the various factions available in Star Atlas, fighting for political dominance is the main goal when it comes to playing SCREAM.
According to the team, SCREAM is all about being in control of different star systems in the game. The more star systems you dominate, the more resources you can gather, and thus your faction will grow in power.
The point is, how do you dominate a star system in the first place? Simple. You’ll need to build more and upgrade starbases that belong to your faction in Star Atlas when playing SCREAM.
According to the team, a starbase serves as the foothold for all political and economical activities of every faction in Star Atlas. That’s because players will need to deposit all gathered materials to craft complex infrastructures on starbases. So the higher the starbase tier, the stronger the hold of a faction in that star system.

When’s the launch date for SCREAM?
As of now, the team hasn’t come up with a firm date yet on when to launch SCREAM. However, in issue#7 of the Star Atlas newsletter, we managed to get a sneak peek at SCREAM’s work-in-progress (WIP) game module as shown above. Honestly, the dashboard looks pretty complicated for a WIP. Looks like Star Atlas is ready to take off anytime soon!
