Someone has hacked the WonderHero NFT mobile game overnight, and the $WND token has fallen 83% since the news emerged.
Fans of the game woke up to a complete and utter nightmare this morning. However, the popular P2E game has quickly acted and reassured users. Significantly, they have taken several urgent steps.

What’s next for the WonderHero game?
In a tweet by the WonderHero game account, the team outlined a plan to move forward following the hack. They have immediately suspended all game services and closed bridge services. The game has also removed liquidity, paused smart contracts and stopped all deposits, withdrawals and trading services.
Basically, at this time, the game is shut for business. It is unclear how long these blocks will remain in place, but the Wonderhero team will want to find out more about the hack and stop it from happening again. This could be a quick fix, or it may require lots of work.
In a tweet, the WonderHero game said, “Do not trade $WND for now, as the team is still investigating, and we will come out with a solution.”
Users are sharing an image showing a Binance transaction of over 80 million WND tokens ($28 million). The comments to the tweet reveal the scale of the NFT game hack and perhaps why the token has plummeted. The working theory is that this NFT game exploit is a possible private key compromise.
