Operations and growth executive Andrew Green is YGG’s new head of developer relations! The gaming guild has been a pioneer in expanding the play-to-earn model and empowering gamers worldwide. This year, it wants to engage and empower game developers looking to build their Web3 products.

Meet YGG’s Head of Developer Relations
So what does Andrew bring to the table? He has an impressive and solid career in the gaming space spanning 20 years. Before his role at YGG, he was the head of business operations at TinyCo, a mobile video game studio. His achievements include helping build, launch and operate titles like Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, Marvel Avengers Academy, and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
Meanwhile, Andrew’s main responsibility is to develop the YGG ecosystem by building a team to interact with game developers in all segments of the industry. So the P2E guild wants to work with Indie, AA, AAA, console, mobile, Metaverse and blockchain gaming titles. From a macro perspective, Andrew’s role is to help YGG create a strong brand in the gaming world beyond play-to-earn. To achieve this, he needs to identify potential collaborations.
Furthermore, his mandate includes helping game developers find the knowledge and resources they need to succeed. Ultimately, YGG will leverage its network and community to support its new partners. Andrew will also ensure that the YGG community always has priority access to new games.
Andrew explained, “I will be working to help build content and curriculum as an educational beacon and point of access to Web3 game development .”
